Not only is Troye Sivan a fellow YouTuber like Green himself, but this song was also written because of his book (If you have not yet figured this out John Green wrote the original book The Fault in Our Stars and that’s what the movie is based off of). If John Green had any say in what music they used in the movie I’m almost sure this would be in it. I feel like this would be the perfect title track for the movie and it’d be a great opener for the soundtrack. The movie stays pretty true to the book, so if you’ve read the book there’s not much in the movie that’s new. If you don’t mind the spoilers then read on. Note: Just thought I’d mention there are probably movie/book spoilers, so if you have not seen the movie or read the book (one or the other) and do not want me to spoil it then don’t read this post. Part two the next 8 songs, will come in a later post. This is part 1 so I will only be explaining the first 8 songs my version of the album. This is my version of the Fault in Our Stars soundtrack and since there’s 16 songs on the soundtrack I have also chosen 16 songs for my version. That led me to think what if I created the Fault in Our Stars soundtrack? What would the soundtrack be like? That’s where this comes in. Listening to the album I noticed how a lot of the music was like some of the stuff in my playlists on Spotify. All the music in the movie was amazing and the soundtrack was practically all I listened to during the month of July. So, I recently saw the Fault in Our Stars and I absolutely loved it (yeah I know I’m like a month late, but at least I got to see the movie and I read the book last year). Hey! I know this has nothing to do with fashion, but I’m working on something fashion related that is going up real soon.
